Professor Allison Steiner Receives NSF Faculty Early Career Development Award

Posted: July 21, 2010

Congratulations to AOSS Assistant Professor Allison Steiner for her NSF Faculty Early Career Development (CAREER) Award. This is the NSF’s most prestigious award in support of junior faculty who “exemplify the role of teacher-scholars through outstanding research, excellent education and integration of education and research.”

Allison received the award, which is expected to run for five years, for her project, “The Climatic Relevance of Pollen in the Atmosphere.”

Please join me in congratulating Allison on receiving what I am sure is just the first of many more distinguished awards.

Best, Tamas
