Congratulations to three outstanding AOSS students for their selection for three College Awards.

Dara Fisher, AOSS senior, is one of two recipients for this year’s Arlen Hellwarth Prize. This prestigious award is presented to two undergraduate student leaders who have made valuable contributions to the College, University and/or community. Dara has been active throughout her undergraduate career and is “In the Spotlight” (, where you can learn more about her very busy years at U-M.

Kevin Reed is this year’s recipient of the AOSS Graduate Distinguished Achievement Award and Zhenfei Wang will receive the AOSS Undergraduate Distinguished Achievement Award. These awards are given to an undergraduate and graduate student in each degree program. Zhenfei and Kevin were chosen by AOSS to recognize academic and personal excellence.

Dara, Kevin and Zhenfei will be recognized for their accomplishments at the Leaders and Honors Brunch on Sunday, March 20 at 9:00am in the Michigan Union Ballroom. Please join me in congratulating them.
