Job Opening: Engineer in Research Lead at the University of Michigan

The Space Physics Research Lab within the Atmospheric, Oceanic and Space Sciences (AOSS) Department at the University of Michigan (UM) is seeking a design or systems engineer (depending on project needs) to develop complex instrumentation for space and atmospheric research applications. Required qualifications include a BS in Electrical Engineering with 10 years experience in digital, FPGA, and software design; design experience with real-time and embedded-processor systems; demonstrated systems analysis skills; demonstrated team leadership abilities; experience with NASA, DoD, or similar structured design and development processes.
