Professor Thomas Zurbuchen provided testimony about future of NASA

Professor Thomas Zurbuchen provided testimony to the House Committee on Science, Space and Technology on Wednesday, December 12.

The topic was: “The Future of NASA: Perspectives on Strategic Vision for America’s Space Program.”

"NASA science should stretch our imagination, stimulate our thinking and demonstrate leadership worldwide,” Zurbuchen said.

On his blog, Zurbuchen wrote: “This is a period of limited resources and we need to focus to position ourselves for better times. The way to do this is to ensure that a talented work force will be available, and that disruptive innovations and technology breakthroughs are pursued.”
