AOSS places third in commuter challenge

The UM CoE-AOSS team placed third in the Ann Arbor Commuter Challenge, which rewards those who bus, bike, walk or carpool to work during the month of May.

Forty-three people from AOSS participated in the challenge, logging a total of 6,133 miles and avoiding 5,249 pounds of carbon dioxide emissions.

The top three AOSS participants in terms of the most carbon dioxide avoided were: senior instrument maker Chuck Navarre, senior electronics technician David Boprie and administrative assistant Eidilia Thomas.
