Professor Kort’s distinguished lecture

Assistant Professor Eric Kort was invited as a distinguished speaker to the opening of CAGE (Centre for Arctic Gas Hydrate, Environment and Climate) at UiT The Arctic University of Norway.

Kort presented “Dynamic changes in methane: climate implications,” at the university, which is the northernmost university in the world.

Kort's research focuses on ground-based, airborne and space-based observations of atmospheric trace gases as well as long-lived greenhouse gases and atmosphere-biosphere interactions.

CAGE is a Center of Excellence initiated by the Research Council of Norway to bring more Norwegian researchers and research groups up to a high international standard.
