Dr. Marsik on NHL Live

Associate Research Scientist Frank Marsik joined NHL (National Hockey League) Live to share his weather prediction for the 2014 Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic in Ann Arbor.

Before giving the forecast, Marsik spoke about his season tickets in the corner of an end zone.

“What’s been great about that seat is that lots of late game heroics [happen] in that corner of the end zone. A number of years ago Penn State came in, I think number one, and we won in the last second touch down there. It’s a great seat for seeing those game changing moments."

Marsik added that games at the Big House, such as the U-M versus Michigan State game a few years ago, have a great atmosphere because “this part of the state loves hockey.”
