Student Micah Weberg earns Outstanding Student Paper Award

Doctoral student Micah Weberg earned an Outstanding Student Paper Award (OSPA) at the AGU 2013 Fall Meeting.

Micah’s presentation in the Space Physics and Aeronomy section was titled, “Coronal sources, elemental fractionation, and release mechanisms of heavy ion dropouts in the solar wind.”

“I am honored and excited that our research and work has warranted such interest,” Weberg says.

Outstanding Student Paper Awards are awarded to promote, recognize and reward students for quality research. Typically the top 3-5% of presenters in each section are awarded an OSPA.
