Professor Ruf earns Outstanding Service Award

Professor Chris Ruf earned the Outstanding Service Award from IEEE GRSS (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers - Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society).

This award was established to recognize an individual who has given outstanding service for the benefit and advancement of the Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society. The award is considered annually and presented if an outstanding candidate is identified.

In addition to being an AOSS professor, Dr. Ruf is also an electrical engineering professor and the director of the U-M space physics research laboratory (SPRL). He is also the Principal Investigator for NASA EV-2 Cyclone Global Navigation Satellite System (CYGNSS).
