Professor Nagy named AOGS Distinguished Lecturer

Professor Emeritus Andrew Nagy has been selected as a distinguished lecturer for the atmospheric sciences section of the upcoming AOGS (Asia Oceania Geosciences Society) annual convention in Japan.

Nagy will speak on the aeronomy of Mars and will discuss what can be learned from the upcoming US MAVEN and the Indian MOM missions.

AOGS promotes geosciences and its application for the benefit of humanity, specifically in Asia and Oceania and with an overarching approach to global issues. The annual conventions provide an opportunity to exchange scientific knowledge and discuss geo-scientific issues among academia, research institution and public.
