Two students named 2014 MICDE Fellows

Doctoral students Diana Thatcher and Matthew Wozniak earned Michigan Institute for Computational Discovery and Engineering (MICDE) Fellowships.

Thatcher is a second year doctoral student; Associate Professor Christiane Jablonowski is her advisor.

Wozniak is an incoming doctoral student; his advisor will be Associate Professor Allison Steiner.

All students enrolled in the MICDE Graduate Certificate Program are eligible to apply for a fellowship. This year, 13 students were selected. Fellows receive a $4,000 research fund that can be used to attend a conference, buy a computer, or any other advisor-approved activity that enhances the graduate experience.
