Graduate Student Colin Zarzycki awarded NCAR Fellowship

Doctoral Student Colin Zarzycki has been awarded an NCAR (National Center for Atmospheric Research) Advanced Study Program (ASP) Postdoctoral Fellowship, which provides funding for two years.

Zarzycki will join NCAR in September 2014. He will collaborate with researchers from NCAR's Climate and Global Dynamics (CGD) and Mesoscale & Microscale Meteorology (MMM) divisions. In particular, he will advance the variable and high-resolution capabilities of the Community Atmosphere Model (CAM), which is the atmospheric component of the Community Earth System Model (CESM).

Zarzycki’s advisor is Associate Professor Christiane Jablonowski.
