Professor Fisk discusses the possibility of trips to Mars

Professor Len Fisk is featured in a new digital media experience from Michigan Engineering titled, “Which Way to Mars?”

The article, written by Randy Milgrom, states that the 1969 moon landing elevated everyone's expectations about the possibilities of human spaceflight.

"The whole aerospace industry as we know it today comes out of Apollo," Fisk says in the article. "It created the infrastructure for aerospace we've depended on ever since."

Yet humans have still not been sent any farther than the moon. The article dives in to the reasons why humans have not explored space further, and highlights the strides the public and private sectors are making for space exploration.
