Student Chuanfei Dong earns UCAR Fellowship

Doctoral Student Chuanfei Dong has been selected for the Jack Eddy Postdoctoral Fellowship Program from UCAR, the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research.

This program matches early career PhDs with experienced scientists at U.S. research institutions. The goal of the program is to train the next generation of researchers needed for the emerging field of heliophysics.

Dong will work with Professor Amitava Bhattacharjee at Princeton University.

Recent awards for Dong include the Richard and Eleanor Towner Award for Distinguished Academic Achievement from the College of Engineering, and the Award for Outstanding Students Abroad from the China Scholarship Council.

Professor Stephen Bougher advises Dong.
