Professor Huang earns NASA’s Henry J.E. Reid Award

Associate Professor Xianglei Huang recently received NASA Langley’s Henry J.E. Reid Award.

This award recognizes an outstanding publication that is based on research primarily performed at Langley.

The award-winning paper that Huang co-authored with NASA Langley collaborators is titled, “Achieving Climate Change Absolute Accuracy in Orbit.”

Once a year the Langley Science Council judges papers submitted for the award based on the importance of the problem, significance of the contribution, originality of the concept, and quality of the reporting. The award was presented at Langley’s Honor Awards Ceremony on August 25, 2015.
