Graduate Student Abigail Azari earns NSF fellowship Abigail Azari

The National Science Foundation (NSF) has selected Graduate Student Abigail Azari to receive a 2016 NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP) Fellowship.

The GRFP recognizes and supports outstanding graduate students who are pursuing research-based master's and doctoral degrees in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) and in STEM education. The GRFP provides three years of support for the graduate education of individuals who have demonstrated their potential for significant research achievements in STEM and STEM education.

Professor Michael Liemohn advises Azari. Her current research involves analyzing in-situ and remote sensing data from the Cassini mission to Saturn in collaboration with Dr. Xianzhe Jia.
