Coming in May: International Conference on Tethers in Space

From May 24 through May 26, the International Conference on Tethers in Space will take place in Palmer Commons. Space tethers are an evolving, important, and enabling space technology with multiple applications in near Earth orbit, in interplanetary space, and around other planets. The Tethers in Space conference will bring together the world’s experts in the field and those who wish to explore this important technology for 3 days of technical sessions, presentations, and one-on-one networking.

Speakers include Dr. Nobie Stone, Mr. Les Johnson and Dr. Thomas Zurbuchen.

The event will take place from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Tuesday and Wednesday, and 8:00 AM to noon on Thursday.
