CLaSP Faculty in Two UMich200 Bicentennial Events
This weekend's UMich200 Fall Festival marks the finale of the University of Michigan's Bicentennial. The festival runs October 26-28, and culminates with the Wolverines taking on the Rutgers Scarlet Knights at the Homecoming football game on Saturday.  
CLaSP faculty will be participating in two events on Friday, October 27, and we'd love to see you there! ‚Äč

1:00 - 2:00 p.m. Walgreen Drama Center - Stamps Auditorium - North Campus
Project Faculty Lead Professor Aaron Ridley and members of the M-BARC student team with hold a panel discussion about the the M-BARC bicentennial archive, and the plan to launch a time capsule into space for a 100-year orbit! Learn more about the mission, and what will be in the time capsule at
4:00 - 7:00 p.m. 3rd Century Expo - Ingalls Mall - Central Campus
Faculty science team members, Dr. Darren McKague, Dr. Frank Marsik, and Professor Aaron Ridley will join CYGNSS Principal Investigator Professor Chris Ruf in the College of Engineering tent on Ingalls Mall. The team will be on hand to talk about the CYGNSS hurricane-hunting mission, including its conception, launch, and ongoing data gathering activities. Learn more about the ongoing CYGNSS mission on the CYGNSS website
