CLaSP Ph.D candidate receives MLK Spirit Award

This past Monday, Climate & Space Ph.D candidate Doğa Can Su Öztürk was the recipient of a 2018 North Campus Dean's Martin Luther King Spirit Award at a ceremony and reception in Duderstadt Center, on the University of Michigan's North Campus quad. 

The award ceremony was part of the 2018 Martin Luther King, Jr. Symposium, one of the largest celebrations of the life and legacy of MLK sponsored by colleges and universities in the nation.

The Martin Luther King Spirit Awards are given to students, student organizations, and faculty members at the University of Michigan North Campus who exemplify the leadership and vision of Dr. King through their commitment to social justice, diversity, and inclusion.
